Join us on Monday, Dec. 6th as we host our Winter Membership Social via Zoom! We will have raffles, prizes, art-making opportunities, and more! Members and non-members interested in learning more about our organization are welcome to attend this meeting!

Breakout Session #1 Options:

 

Printmaking 

Ever wanted to try printmaking with your students but have little or no budget? Join me to learn how to incorporate printmaking with some basic items. This is open to all grade levels or if you just want to try it out for fun. 

  • Styrofoam (From fruit/veggies or meat- You could also just ask your grocer for clean ones, you can use take out container)

  • Sheet protector 

  • Pencil

  • Pen

  • Markers (washable)

  • Paper ( Printer paper would work, but a thicker paper like watercolor would be best)

  • Paper Towel

  • Water

 

Design Thinking: A human-centric creative process to build meaningful and effective solutions

 

Design Thinking is a flexible, iterative process that provides a solution-based approach to solving problems that can be applied to any product, service, process, or industry. 

 

This session will cover how we can leverage the five phases of Design Thinking to solve problems in a creative and innovative way.
