Virtual Art Exhibit
Thank you for your participation in our Virtual Art Gallery, co-hosted by the RI Art Education Association. We are so pleased that you and your students chose to participate in this year’s activity.
We had 16 high schools across the state participate—and over 75 entries from Rhode Island students. We are thrilled with the response and we hope that this forum was helpful for you to provide outlet for your students’ creative energies and talents.
The Virtual Art Show is now live and can be viewed at https://www.reed.senate.gov/news/photos/2020-ri-high-school-art-exhibit. Please share this with your students who have participated and feel free to share with your principals and superintendents as well. We will be doing a note to our Superintendents whose districts had participation.
The link will be live for the rest of the calendar year. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. And thank you all again for your support and the work you do every day!

Last week Michelle Turner (RIAEA President) worked with RISCA and the Arts Learning Network (which includes Sue Root, Mia Thompson and Nancy Brandley, (all RIAEA Past-President) to create the guideline document. The committee was able to connect to someone directly from RIDOH and they were able to approve it. It is now ready to SHARE! The link is set up to be accessible by anyone so feel free to send to your Superintendents, Principals, etc.
